Prefer app control, energy monitoring or solar integration? Our premium smart-charger packages start from £695 including VAT for a standard installation. We can recommend suitable Evec and other charger options, including solar-compatible models. Every installation is assessed for the correct protection, including PEN-fault protection where required, followed by testing, certification and DNO notification.

We check your consumer unit, earthing, supply capacity and existing RCD protection before installation. If an older consumer unit is unsuitable, we can discuss an upgrade or install a dedicated EV distribution board. You will receive a clear quotation before any work starts.

A standard installation normally includes the charger, a suitable cable route, required protective equipment, electrical testing, certification and DNO notification. Most straightforward installations are completed in one day. Longer cable routes, groundwork or consumer-unit alterations will be quoted separately.

With a compatible smart charger, you can monitor charging, schedule off-peak sessions and manage useful features from your phone. Alternatively, many cars allow charging schedules to be set through the vehicle itself, making a simpler charger a sensible option for some customers.
